Terafort
eShaafi — serverless healthcare backend
REST APIs, video consults, and payments on AWS Lambda for a telehealth product that had to stay cheap to run and still scale with appointments.
Backend engineer · UAE
Four years shipping backend systems — healthcare at Terafort, then loyalty, search, personalization, and payments at The Entertainer. Python first, with Go and .NET in production.
Case studies, not a dump of every ticket.

Terafort

Product
The Entertainer
A Flask recommendation API in the live app — membership filters, merchant ranking, redemption rules, and deeplinks for mobile.
Platform
The Entertainer
Core B2C backend for offers, orders, and third-party logistics — the unglamorous work that keeps checkout and fulfilment moving.
Reliability
The Entertainer
Parity work on a payment migration — guest checkout, wallet UI, and the mapping bugs that turned successful charges into 500s after the fact.

A public learning repo: Docker, Compose, and a FastAPI + Postgres + Redis stack I actually run — not a tutorial dump.
I started at Terafort on eShaafi, a healthcare product, designing a serverless backend on Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. In December 2022 I joined The Entertainer, a B2C loyalty platform, and stayed in the services that actually hit production: merchants, delivery, search, user accounts, recommendations, and payments.
I am strongest in Python and AWS. I have shipped Go microservices and I am contributing to a .NET Native AOT migration — I do not pretend those are my deepest stacks. I care about integrations that fail honestly, secrets that are not in git, and APIs other people can operate.
